Upbit to Host 10 Bitcoin Trading Competition

Dunamu (CEO Lee Seok-woo) has announced that it will host the first ‘Upbit Investment Major League’ from July 3 to 16, offering a total of 10 Bitcoins (BTC) in rewards. This competition aims to engage both new and experienced traders on the Upbit platform.

Competition Details and Participation
Ahead of the competition, Dunamu is recruiting participants through the Upbit Investment Major League website until 6 PM on June 26. Any domestic individual (Korean national) who has completed Upbit’s customer verification (KYC) can register and must complete the registration within the given period to participate.

The Upbit Investment Major League is divided into two leagues based on the participants’ asset holdings:

  1. Whale League: For those with a total estimated value of over 10 million KRW in KRW and digital assets at the start of the league.
  2. Newcomer League: For those with a total estimated value of less than 10 million KRW in KRW and digital assets at the start of the league.

Participants will be automatically assigned to a league based on their asset holdings. The competition includes all cryptocurrencies supported by Upbit across the KRW, BTC, and USDT markets, including any new cryptocurrencies that become available during the competition period.

Awards and Benefits
Upbit will evaluate participants based on their cumulative returns during the competition. The top 100 performers in each league (totaling 200 participants) will be rewarded. The highest prize is 1 BTC, awarded to the top performer in the Whale League.

Additionally, Dunamu will host various events during the competition to provide extra benefits. Notable events include:

  • K-Bank Account Registration Bonus: The first 30,000 participants who complete K-Bank account registration and make their first KRW deposit into Upbit will receive BTC worth 10,000 KRW.
  • Random Draw Event: A total of 0.5 BTC will be distributed among 1,000 randomly selected participants.
