UDC 2025 Opens Early Bird Ticket Sales: A Key Step Toward Blockchain Mainstream Adoption

The Upbit D Conference 2025 (UDC 2025), set to take place on September 9 at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam, Seoul, has officially begun early bird ticket sales as of May 20. Hosted by Dunamu, the operator of South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Upbit, the event is expected to mark a pivotal moment in the mainstream adoption of blockchain technology.

Now in its eighth year, UDC has established itself as Korea’s leading comprehensive blockchain conference. With over 27,000 cumulative attendees and more than 200 sessions to date, the event has played a critical role in expanding the blockchain ecosystem across both domestic and international markets. This year’s theme, “Blockchain, to the Mainstream,” will explore real-world blockchain use cases and global expansion trends across finance, policy, technology, culture, and industry.

The early bird tickets, limited to just 100 buyers, are being offered at a 33% discount from the regular price of 300,000 KRW—available for 200,000 KRW. These premium passes include not only entry to the conference but also a range of exclusive perks: a limited edition 2025 NFT, access to blockchain events and lucky draws, admission to BTCON 2025, special programs, exclusive merchandise, lunch and refreshments at the hotel, and complimentary convenience services.

The first group of speakers has also been revealed. The lineup features prominent global figures, including:

  • Patrick McHenry, Chair of the U.S. House Financial Services Committee

  • Jin Fang, Associate Managing Director for Asia-Pacific at Moody’s Ratings

  • Sandra Ro, CEO of the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC)

  • Pär Helgosson, Head of PSG Labs (Paris Saint-Germain)

  • Heewon Jeong, Assistant Professor at Jeonbuk National University

  • Ido Ben-Natan, CEO and Co-founder of Blockaid

  • Gal Sagie, CEO and Co-founder of Hypernative

Additional speaker announcements are expected in the coming weeks.

What sets UDC apart from other blockchain events is its non-profit nature. Rather than focusing on revenue, UDC prioritizes fostering blockchain innovation and education. As part of its commitment to social impact, Dunamu will once again donate a portion of ticket proceeds to the Korea Student Aid Foundation to support young talent in the blockchain field. These efforts are particularly aimed at empowering college students pursuing careers in IT and Web3.

“Blockchain is no longer just a technology—it’s becoming a core component of industrial transformation,” said a Dunamu spokesperson. “UDC 2025 will be a key moment to reflect on and drive that change. We hope more people will experience the future of blockchain firsthand.”
