Onchain Symposium 2025 to Bring Global Financial Leaders to Seoul in September

On September 10, the Onchain Symposium 2025 will take place at the Josun Palace Hotel in Gangnam, Seoul. Co-hosted by Tokenpost and Coinreaders, the event will focus on major themes surrounding on-chain financial innovation, including stablecoins, real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, and ETFs.

According to the organizers, the symposium is designed as a venue for global players to gather in line with the rapid growth of digital assets in Korea and across Asia. Tether, Visa, and other leading companies have already confirmed their participation, heightening anticipation. With both domestic and international financial institutions accelerating efforts to manage and utilize on-chain assets, discussions at the event are expected to translate into tangible business strategies.

A number of global speakers will also join the stage. Among them is Brandon Kumar, co-founder of the web3 quest-based onboarding platform Layer3. Layer3 has gained attention for expanding blockchain user engagement through gamified participation, and Kumar was recently named to Forbes 30 Under 30, underscoring his role as a rising leader in the web3 space.

The symposium’s agenda will center on three key areas. First is the institutionalization and application of stablecoins. With the Korean government releasing draft guidelines for KRW-pegged stablecoins, industry players are eager to hear how global companies viewregulation and potential market opportunities. Second is RWA tokenization. How traditional assets such as real estate and bonds can be efficiently traded and distributed on blockchain—and how this links with global capital markets—will be discussed. Finally, the symposium will address on-chain financial products tied to ETFs. Following the launch of spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in the U.S. and Hong Kong, Korean investors have shown growing interest in digital asset-based derivatives.

Industry experts note that the symposium may go beyond discourse to produce real collaboration and policy proposals. The intersection of traditional finance and blockchain firms is expected to open doors for new financial models.

Onchain Symposium 2025 will run for a single day and will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking sessions with both international speakers and domestic experts. The organizers emphasized that “on-chain assets are no longer experimental concepts, but are becoming part of the institutional financial landscape.”
