Park Jae-kyung, a professor of information security at Korea Polytechnic University, was elected as the first president, and the full-scale work for valuation began on the 9th. The Virtual Asset Valuation Service will conduct an official evaluation of virtual currency and explain the purpose of the Virtual Asset Valuation Service to the domestic virtual currency exchange. In addition, it is decided to propose evaluation of virtual currencies that are planned to be listed and those that have already been listed.
The evaluation period for each case is expected to take about 3 to 4 weeks. He also announced that the evaluation committee will consist of 5-7 members.
