Kakao’s blockchain platform Klaytn and Naver’s Finschia have announced their integration, stirring a new wave in the blockchain industry. This integration project has been named ‘Project Dragon’. The Klaytn Foundation has proposed various compensation plans to address the grievances of Finschia investors.
During the AMA (Ask Me Anything) session held on January 25th, a vote was conducted targeting Finschia investors regarding the integration proposal. Finschia holders who participated in the vote are expected to receive the integration token, ‘Dragon’ Token (PDT), as compensation. This reward will be provided to all participants irrespective of the voting outcome, symbolizing the collaborative spirit between Klaytn and Finschia.
Furthermore, the Klaytn Foundation has announced support measures for activating user communities and governance. After the launch of the integrated governance, all partners will be provided with user delegation features, and special weightage will be given to the voting rights of the delegated user volume.
Support measures for DApp migration were also proposed. With the integration of different technological bases, support will be provided for the development costs incurred. Especially for DApp developers, support will be available post-integration to maintain user retention.
The vote for the integration of Klaytn and Finschia is scheduled to take place from the 26th of this month to the 2nd of next month. The integration will be decided based on the voting results from the governance participants.
