[September] Web3 Epicenter Shifts to Seoul for Korea Blockchain Week

Crypto season continues in Asia this month when Korea Blockchain Week (KBW) commences September 22 in Seoul. The annual festival, which drew 30,000 visitors in 2024, has become a global summit for movers and shakers of the Web3 industry, and this year’s event expects to dutifully continue the tradition.

On the menu of events is Eastpoint: Seoul 2025, a conference of crypto leaders to be held at Seoul’s Grand Hyatt hotel. Co-hosted by Hashed, this gathering promises an exploration into the future of crypto regulation and other opportunities within a rapidly growing industry.

Also on the itinerary is GOLDENWAVE 2025, co-hosted by Wavebridge and Maekyung Business TV. This event will allow business leaders to connect and discuss the intersections between traditional finance, cryptocurrency, and regulatory bodies. Wavebridge labels itself as the only private company in Korea with both VASP registration and a prime brokerage infrastructure.

And after a successful Game Night back in March, Fantrie will be hosting their 2nd Game Night on September 25, along with BitMEX Research as their main sponsor.

KBW and its side events are so packed that some teams and projects are getting a jumpstart in hopes of interfacing with clients and partners before the epic KBW parties (and afterparties) steal attendees’ time and attention. Case in point: Limitless (an up-and-coming prediction market platform backed by Arthur Hayes and Maelstrom) will be hosting Limitless Meetup on September 19, a few days before KBW’s official kickoff.

Following the festivities, the Asian conference season will segue to Marina Bay Sands in Singapore for the granddaddy of them all, Token 2049. (That mega-event will conclude on the same weekend as the Singapore F1 Grand Prix, for all you race fans out there.) All in all, the upcoming weeks will prove an exciting time for crypto leaders, enthusiasts, and novices to speak about and shape the next stage of innovation in the digital asset world. Coinhubkorea will of course be attending KBW and dropping some live reports from the front lines. See you all there.
