Donald Trump Jr., son of former U.S. President Donald Trump and a prominent conservative political activist, is set to deliver a keynote speech at Korea Blockchain Week 2025 (KBW2025) this September, focusing on the future of Bitcoin and digital sovereignty.
Scheduled to speak during the main IMPACT session at the Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul, Trump Jr. will represent the American Bitcoin mining sector, particularly through his backing of “American Bitcoin,” a major player in U.S. crypto infrastructure. His appearance marks the first time a major U.S. political figure joins the event to discuss the intersection of politics, finance, and blockchain.
KBW2025 is widely known as Asia’s premier Web3 conference, drawing global leaders from blockchain, finance, and tech. This year’s lineup includes cutting-edge projects such as Sui, Stable, and 0G. The addition of Trump Jr. highlights the growing political relevance of Bitcoin, especially among U.S. conservatives who view it as a tool for financial freedom and resistance to censorship.
Previously, Trump Jr. has described Bitcoin as an “unbankable asset that defends free markets and liberty.” His speech is expected to emphasize themes such as financial independence, freedom of speech, and decentralized innovation.
According to event organizers, “His presence isn’t just symbolic—it signals a significant shift in how political and financial elites view digital assets. His perspective could influence international regulatory conversations, including those in South Korea.”
KBW2025 will be held on September 23–24 in Seoul, with live broadcasts and post-event materials available through platforms like Xangle and BWB.
